Participating Communities
Utah Renewable Communities is made up of 16 cities, counties, and towns in Utah that are working towards a shared goal: bringing more renewable energy to the Beehive State through the Community Clean Energy Program.
Eligible communities had until June 2, 2026 to decide whether to adopt a participation ordinance to formally remain in the Program when it launches. The residents and businesses within the communities that adopted ordinances will be able to participate in the Community Clean Energy Program.
Sixteen communities adopted ordinances: Alta, Castle Valley, Francis, Grand County, Emigration Canyon, Holladay, Midvale, Millcreek, Moab, Oakley, Ogden, Park City, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Springdale, and Summit County
