Our Agency and Board
Utah Renewable Communities (Also known as the Community Renewable Energy Agency or "The Agency") is made up of government representatives from all the participating communities. Each participating community may appoint two people to sit on the Board: a primary board member, who is an elected official, and an alternate board member, who can be an elected or appointed official or a staff member.

The URC Board meets once a month to hear updates and make decisions that move the Program forward. These monthly meetings are held at Millcreek Common, typically occur on the first Monday of the month, and are open to the public.

Agency Agreements
To join the URC Agency, communities must adopt a governance agreement and sign a utility agreement with Rocky Mountain Power.
If the Program is approved by the Utah Public Service Commission, communities will have 90 days to pass an ordinance to remain in the URC Program when it launches.
